I-Is this thing on? [A deep sigh of relief can be heard from the other side of the line before falling into a brief moment of silence.] Thank goodness it is ... OK, now that it's working ...

Hi. Some of you have met me a while back when we were currently dealing with the mechanical t-rex problem, and that was when I first arrived here in Revan. Anyways, the name's Rock, Rock Light, and I'm one of the newcomers who have since become a part of the Convoy, what one would call a Drifter.

Recently, I've been talking to Raph about what was going on in Revan and he brought up the time that he and a few other Drifters almost got swallowed alive by a sentient, man-eating skyscraper. In all honesty, it got the gears in my processor turning and it led to all sorts of questions. Sadly, Raph wasn't able to answer them all due to how quickly everything escalated to, so he told me that I could ask the other Drifters around to see if they can pitch in.

So, here's the thing that we're all looking into ... was that building ... did it have any form of ties to the Steel Wardens? I know for sure that the skyscraper had shared a few common traits with the mechanical t-rexes, so I wouldn't be super surprised if the Wardens have also made that building come to life and target the rest of us. Though, that might be just me speculating on the matter as I haven't personally experienced being chased down by such a monster.

And besides, for those who still remember ... what exactly do you know about that building other than that it tried to eat everyone tied to the Convoy? Let me know if you still have something about it, as it would be of great help if you do.

Thanks.

Hello, this is Nicole if we haven't met before, but I'll get straight to the point.

We're due to leave Nirvana in a few days, and I reckon we should review what information we've learned before we're gone, and can't go back for any last-minute extensive research. But before that: the road ahead is going to be dangerous, and I have a dubious weather forecast for the next week and a half. Dubious, I say, because this is Revan. Things can change on a whim's notice.

[ An assortment of forecast data is attached. Hooray! ]

Now: information.

Logs of Excessive Detail
Info on our personal backgrounds, alongside records of Convoy activity. The latter was scraped from the Convoy itself, but doing some digging reveals the former was edited by various moon warps.

Yes, you read it right. Somehow, space-time has synchronized with the data centers each time a moon warp occurs, and that uploads information into the database. Information that is suspiciously specific to our personal backgrounds prior to arrival. I'm unsure if this was an intended feature of Nirvana's security or not.

Visions
As no small number of us powering the entertainment districts may testify, the sparks from reactivating its buildings provided visions of Nirvana being built on ruins over time. Said ruins unearthed themselves from the moon warp, providing visions of their own.

They also apparently had a chance of spawning something from the mural itself, so consider yourself lucky if you were spared from that.

Ancient building visions reveal that power was drawn from the transformed, shaped in a manner that could advance their technology. Some hacking into the system reveals they were the origins of Steel Warden technology and Silver Tears wards. Their murals also depicted an unshattered moon, and by how grandiose these structures are, this was not a localized belief. If you have received something else from these visions or have discovered something else in these structures, please let us know.

Nirvana's Inner Sanctum
Some of us have been to the library, full of knowledge on the Steel Wardens and the Silver Tears. It's probably repetitive information, though I've taken the liberty of recording each book to upload into the Convoy's database. Peruse at your own whims.

Hacking into Nirvana had another set of results. We now know about the older city records, but:
  • The presence of the Convoy explicitly tempers with summoning circles made by their rogue members, ensuring they give us free will.
  • I also found schematics for the Convoy itself, mapping how exactly it works. It's meant to shield us from the worst of Revan's environment, though it's not entirely perfect. It's still a feat, considering the heavy dimensional warping surrounding the circles, but it should speak of Nirvana's knowledge on how to manipulate it. I'm sure that for those of us who want to go home, that's crucially important, and should be questioned further.
  • The Midnight Impact: there are three successive calamities in total. Midnight has been assigned to the predicted complete shattering of the moon, the prior two calamities being named the Dusk Impact, and the Dawn Impact. Dawn came first, then Dusk, and now we have Midnight.
Some of you have spoken more personally with our generous radio host as well. If he's left you with anything, feel free to share.

Sigil Knowledge
While we're around people, I decided to question around concerning sigils, as they're used everywhere around the city. As it is an extensive study, I have logged my rough findings here for those curious. Do not be surprised if Nirvana residents appear to be a little question-weary when I'm around. :P

The short of it, is that each sigil corresponds to a family of monsters, and are meant to combat against Stasis. With everything out of balance, however, Stasis has resulted in the creation of Husks, so use of multiple sigils is mandatory to dilute an overabundance of one aspect, and to prevent the transformation into a Husk. Except for us, for some reason. It's been stressed already we're a unique circumstance, that our one sigil is enough, alongside our wider variety of adaptations.

Now, to combine previous knowledge. There's the Midnight Impact for one, there's an entity from it malevolent to us for two, and—if the collection of data is anything to go by—knows us very, very well, for three. Some of us have also witnessed what seems to be a gargantuan beast made up of moon shards at the end of this month's moon warp, located on the distant horizon.

I found it odd that Nirvana seems to be built so close to such an anomaly, but its construction on these previous ancient ruins was purposeful. If this is the very entity from the moon the Silver Tears revere, I suspect it's been reanimating itself with each moon warp to draw closer to Nirvana.

Maybe... that's why we're their last hope.

Suffice to say, we have our work cut out for us. Previous experience tells me we may end up in a "final boss battle" situation, and I suggest to prepare and take care of ourselves the best we can. Even without that, the Steel Wardens and Silver Tears are still active, and we should know how those will go if we encounter them. Reviewing previous logs in the Convoy may also be useful if we can no longer glean information from the city.

I am currently in the Convoy's Digital World to sort out this information, but if anyone needs assistance in-person, I'm the mobian/bipedal lynx. Thank you for your time.

Hello everyone, and thanks all for your patience as we enter into the last phases of the game! We have one last Test Drive Meme with this month, doubling with the RP log. (This is largely in case any past players would like to return for the end game!)

It’s likely become clear that Nirvana is only a temporary stronghold; a place Drifters can return to if needed. But there’s trouble brewing beyond the last city. Drifters are being requested to explore it, to see if they can solve the problem… And perhaps get a cure for what ails them, and a way home. Those in Nirvana are confident that at least a few of those answers are located beyond.

There’s two more regions to explore. (Or rather, two and the ability to warp to prior areas due to the quirks of our current zone!) The first is a region known as the Warp Lands.

The numerous moon shards that have dropped in this region have resulted in an unstable landscape. Things are strange out here, including the ability to travel back to prior areas!

The surroundings will also warp to reflect places from Drifter’s pasts: safe places during turmoil (and moon warp storms!) places where something vital was lost, or places of magic. During all of this, there’s something else trying to reach the Drifters, and seems to be directing the warps. Something that sounds and feels… Broken.

It quickly becomes clear that the moon itself is trying to make contact with the Drifters. Though there’s some extra problems with all of this. Mainly in the form of a miasma that can induce monster changes and a berserk state… And a pack of Gore Magala emitting it.

The end of this trip eventually becomes clear, as the Convoy approaches a broken crater. Which carries the remains of the half shattered moon, and will be where the last month of our end game takes place in June!

And that is our planned route for the month! We hope you enjoy this event, and feel free to plan in the comments below!

*with the whole hitting up Nirvana thing and it NOT being the actual end of the road trip from hell, there were still lots of things to do. While others poured over information and the like, Raph braved the roads when the storms around the area weren't too bad. His bike was strong enough to take it and he had a feeling there was more to discover on the outskirts before they all moved on*

*even if he didn't have much luck, he parked at one point to radio in, since the winds made chattering to the rest of the convoy difficult at times*

Not much luck finding anything worth looking at within the agreed upon scouting range. I'd keep going but I know we're going to leave in the next few days so we'll be going further out anyway.

I'll be doublin' back in a few since I need a break.

I swear the terrain out here is trying to rattle me right outta my she--

*right in the middle of his report back, there's a sickening CRUNCH that cuts him off, following only with a scream of pain as the radio goes quiet for now as he dropped for the time being as another new monster form decided to sneak up on him*

[OOC: I promised I'd get this up before next event but Raphie's got double trouble coming his way. He'll pick up the radio to answer people who audio's back at him after he catches his breath but this boy's getting his scarab wings! :D Which means his shell's cracking to accommodate it. Otherwise you can come find him if you want.]
