That feels very fitting to the overall theme of Undead and also encompasses creatures such as dullahan, penanggalan, etc, so I'm going with a "yes" on that. A creature may be so damaged/emaciated/decayed/etc that their head comes off. (Without instantly Husk-ifying them, naturally.)
