Can I get more clarity on specifically what you're looking for from a TTRPG OC vs one where both the setting and character are completely crafted from scratch? Is it familiarity with setting and mechanics, solid worldbuilding for the character, etc?
I ask this because I have a really large TTRPG library and play indie TTRPG characters from solo-tabletop games like Thousand Year Old Vampire and Anamnesis as well as from obscure traditional TTRPGs that are too old to have a wiki or are published indie games. I'm just wondering what the limit is, if any, there are on TTRPGs, especially since some focus more on character creation and development and leave the worldbuilding up to the GM or players.
