Thank you for the kind words and interest!

Will tackle these questions one at a time:

1. Currently OCs are limited to malleable protags and TTRPGs: the hope here is that TTRPGs can still provide a pretty broad range to choose from: not just Dungeons and Dragons and World of Darkness (though they are both great!) but also less mainstream titles like Blue Rose, Iron Claw, Mutants and Masterminds, Swashbucklers of the 7 Skies, Ryuutama, etc.

2. To clarify, the translation option is there for characters whose monster forms translate easily to other forms. Devil Triggers, assorted werebeasts, etc. Someone with fire magic could certainly choose Elemental in that case.

But if a player really wanted, they could keep their character’s fire powers separate from Elemental and have those take up ability slots when joining. This would fall more in-line with Option 1. (For example, being a phoenix-esque Harpy with fire magic, if that is how they choose their abilities.)

Hopefully this a clear answer, that part of the game design can be a bit fiddly.

3. The general rule is any one thing beyond what a normal human could achieve counts as a single ability. So yes, different physical abilities would all count individually. Some picking and choosing on what will be the coolest things to bring into the game will be necessary for a lot of characters!

4. There are ghosts in the setting, and some game events will utilize them! Frequently they are found around Husks and almost anchored to those metallic remains. They tend to be very tormented and unhappy creatures across all situations.

Hope that all helps!
